His response is a calling and a mandate that we must obey if we hope to see His ministry multiplied through our lives.

That is the economy of the kingdom. The first step to multiplying the ministry of Messiah Jesus through our lives is compassion. Compassion brings us into a place of divine intervention where God can advance His kingdom through our lives. You will never minister consistently to others without compassion.

Words like repentance, hell, and the wrath of God. The word sin is replaced with words like mistake and error. The call to repent is being replaced with a plea to “receive Jesus.” Men and women of God must rise up and confront this religion of convenience, but we must also let the Word of God confront this mindset in any place it has reign in our own hearts. Are you willing?

Rather than allowing the people to make the long journey to Jerusalem to offer their sacrifices rightly, he set up golden calves in Bethel and Dan. He also established priests outside of the Levites of anyone who desired to be a priest and even established a “feast” for offerings which the Scripture says he devised from his own heart. (1 Kings 12:25-33)

What “conveniences” might be drawing your heart away from the true ways of God’s kingdom?
