The Father has called us to be carriers of His presence, but much of the church has allowed a cry for “cultural relevance” to make us into consumers rather than carriers. Jesus was governed by “the divine must” called the will of God. There was no middle ground. Jesus never said no to the Father. He was obedient unto death. By His very life, Jesus draws a line in the sand by which we all must answer the question: Who will you serve?
May we live lives so governed by the Spirit of God that our lives also may compel men everywhere to choose who they will serve.
