As we grieve the loss of Pastor David Wilkerson, we should allow his life to challenge us. Are you being obedient to walk in what the Father has put inside of you? One person that’s willing and obedient to the Father’s voice can truly touch the nations. As you obey, you can be sure that your obedience is impacting heaven, moving the Father’s heart, and exalting the King.

Jesus was governed by “the divine must” called the will of God. There was no middle ground. Jesus never said no to the Father. He was obedient unto death. By His very life, Jesus draws a line in the sand by which we all must answer the question: Who will you serve?
May we live lives so governed by the Spirit of God that our lives also may compel men everywhere to choose who they will serve.

“He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend” (Proverbs 22:11). In John 15:14, Jesus teaches us that we are his friends if we do what he commands. The Holy Spirit wants to help us create a climate for communion with our King, and that climate is maintained through obedience.

The Father is calling us individually and corporately into the place of prayer. The greatest ministry we have is ministering to Him through a lifestyle of intimate friendship with and obedience to Him. The King has given us authority to know and pray the desires of His heart to shake the nations.
